IDCS DEA2013-2014 Panel Judge:- Natalie Louey, DesignS
Natalie was born & educated in Melbourne, Australia where she completed her bachelor of arts in interior design with honours.
Her passion for hotel design was sparked by a visit to Bali where she stayed in a luxury resort designed by Kerry Hill. Subsequently in 1998 she moved to Singapore to join KERRY HILL ARCHITECTS and immersed herself in resort hotel designs.
After running her own interior design company NLDesign Studio in Melbourne for 8 years, she moved back to Singapore to pursue hotel design in asia.
Having spent time with LTW DESIGN WORKS of Singapore working on all aspects of hotel design and branding, in 2010, she decided to head the hotel studio.
Since then, we have been appointed to very high end projects with Clientele such as the Co-Founder of Facebook, Mr. Eduardo Saverin, The Queen of Doha, Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned and Dr. Richard Helfer (Founder of Raffles Hotel Group).
We are also working on hotel projects with Philippe Stark for CDL Limted, and completing hotel designs for Queen Elizabeth II pending her visit to Kandy in Sri Lanka.

MARC ALMAGRO is a magazine journalist who has edited luxury and corporate lifestyle titles including The Peak, Singapore Tatler and Robb Report Singapore. He has also edited books and contributed articles on a range of subjects to various international publications. He is currently the editor of Form, a design and architecture bimonthly, and Palace, a prime residential real estate quarterly, both from Heart Media.

IDCS DEA2013-2014 Panel Judge:- Frazer Macdonald Hay, Programme Director of GSA in partnership with SIT
Frazer is the Director in charge of developing a Glasgow School of Art partnership in Singapore, together with MOE and SIT to develop and deliver a high quality design school initially providing Illustration, Graphics, Photography [Communication Design] and Interior Design and also owns a business called, Big Stone Collective in the UK Frazer is the Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce, Creative Industries Business group in Singapore. He has worked internationally and nationally on iconic buildings such as the New Scottish Parliament building, Stirling’s Tolboth Arts Centre UK and de Zonnestraal, NL. Frazer is now the Educational Chairman for SBID [society for British Interior Design], an Educational consultant for ECIA [European council for interior architecture] and a member of the Scottish Parliament committee for Architecture and the built environment.
